Pets at iheartfaces

This weeks theme is “pets” over at iheartfaces :D Now the only pets we have are in our saltwater fish tank; which they are pretty cool, but I just love this photo so much that I had to post it!

This is Ralphie <3 my boyfriend’s family’s dog. He IS the best dog ever! He’s so laid back, obeys (except when he gets over excited to see new people), he likes to snuggle, loves to play, is always so happy to see you, and has the best personality. And this photo captures some of all that. Love you Ralphie!

Question for you all

Hey everyone, I have a question for you. I’ve been debating on whether or not to keep my blog & photography called “Arey of Light Photography” or to change it to “Britney Emilie Photography” Britney being my first name and Emilie being my middle name. It would be more recognizable I think because it’s my name. But I don’t know. What are your opinions? I figured that if I'm going to change it I should now before I start perusing photography and developing it more. I’d greatly appreciate it if you could let me know what you think. Thanks so much! 

P.S. And since a post is so much better with a photo, here’s an example of how it would look.

Celebrating Teens @ iheartfaces

This weeks theme is “Celebrating Teens”! I am a teen[18] my self :D and this is my cousin Jacob who is 13.

I love this picture I got of him. I took it this past week while he was here for our annual cousin camp. :)

(Plus I discovered some new tricks in my Photoshop Elements.)

I was having fun with my camera a month ago in my dark room with my little reading light :)

I was able to get these photos by using my manual exposure mode and setting it to BULB.

I do too but I also think of joy.

The amazing joy a mother experiences when she holds her precious baby.
